A Self-Care and Wellbeing Christmas Gift Guide

A Self-Care and Wellbeing Christmas Gift Guide

You guys know how passionate I am about mental health and looking after your wellbeing, so I thought it would be a good idea to put together a little Christmas gift guide all based around self-care and looking after yourself.

Everyone deserves to look after themselves no matter who they are and that’s what makes this an accessible gift guide for all the different people in your life and for all kinds of budgets. You might even come across a few ideas for yourself.

There are so many different books across the market based around self-care and looking after yourself. Books are a great way to learn more about taking care of yourself and the best measures to take to do so. Here are some of my top picks below.

Self Care For The Real World
You Are A Badass
Creative Flow
The Self-care Project
The Anxiety Journal

Beauty products are definitely something that most of us tend to associate with self-care as a pamper is always a great go to. It can leave you feeling cleansed, refreshed and recharged. You can never have too many beauty products to give yourself a little pick me up. Nivea* does some cute sets this time of the year to take care of any beauty treats you may be wanting to gift to people.

Journalling and keeping organised with different stationery can really help you with taking care of yourself. Writing down your thoughts and different ideas can be really beneficial to giving you a clearer head and dealing with any uncomfortable feelings so a journal is a great gift idea.

The Wellbeing Journal
One Line A Day
Botanical Rose Journal
2019 Planner
Life Up Monthly Planner

Cosy and relaxing homeware pieces can really help enable not only a calm aura around the home, but also encourage you to take some time out of a busy day to look after yourself. You could gift them a motivational or positive quote, a warm candle or a cosy blanket to snuggle up to for an evening.

A few other ideas you could go for include an experience day out to help give them something to look forward to and a chance to get out and have some fun, a smoothie maker to aid their nutrition, a stress ball for them to carry around whenever they need a release, a beauty treatment like a massage or a facial so they can feel well taken care of and treated.
Another few ideas you could opt for maybe a photo album of all your favourite memories together for them to look back on during harder moments,  a puzzle for them to focus on and distract themselves from intense thoughts or perhaps put together your own self-care basket with lots of small yet different ideas for them to always reach for in times of need.
