I personally find that a full face of makeup is never complete without a lip product. Lipsticks are something I’ve worn for years now and along the way, I’ve picked up a few favourites. I wanted to share with you 4 of my most reached for lipsticks.
These are the shades that I find suit me the best, are easy to wear every day or colours I just absolutely love. Plus they’re all pretty affordable, so what’s not to love?
Starting with a shade I’ve been opting for the most recently with it being autumn and the colder months of the year. Kiko Milano lipsticks are some of the best I’ve tried and in particular the smart lipsticks. Not only is the formula always so comfortable, but they also last a long time too. This one is in the shade 428 grape. It’s the ultimate berry lipstick shade and perfect for this time of the year.
This only retails for £3.90. So if you’re after an autumn lip shade check out this one from Kiko!
The next lipstick that I reach for more often than not is one by Revolution. Makeup Revolution is one of my favourite brands for affordable yet good quality makeup and this lipstick is no exception. The shade goes by the name Head Turner and it’s in this beautiful rose gold glitter packaging. It’s such a glamorous lipstick.
Unfortunately, this lipstick is currently not available but it’s what could be described as a deep browny nude that is ever so creamy. I literally enjoy wearing this one so much and find it goes perfectly all year round.
The next two lipsticks are ones that you can probably tell have been hugely loved in my makeup collection. First up is Mac’s Brave. A lip shade that became popular by Kylie Jenner but you can completely see why. It’s the most gorgeous mauve pink. I find it so wearable and one that suits so many skin tones.
It’s a satin finish which basically translates to a semi-matte and means it is very comfortable on the lips. Satin finishes are my favourite formula from Mac. Brave also lasts such a long time as well and has been one of my favourites now for a good few years. This is the most expensive one out of the four but completely worth it.
And lastly but no way means least, we have Butter by NYX. Another lip shade that has been worn so much by myself. I wear this one probably the most out of them all because it’s one I’m so in love with and find suits me so well.
It’s a nude brown shade that is very 90’s and I find it is so easy to wear every single day. Butter is a matte lip but it is far from drying and is actually really creamy. NYX always do matte lips so well. I couldn’t fault their lipstick range.
